New Delhi: The education sector is being badly affected due to the coronavirus epidemic. Schools across the country have been closed for a long time. Students are forced to live in their homes. This is the question in everyone's mind that when will the schools be opened. Meanwhile, the news agency ANI has quoted government sources as saying that no deadline has been set for reopening the schools. However, only Union Territory of Chandigarh has so far expressed its intention to open a school. The news agency has also said that the decision to open schools will depend on the status of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, officials of the Union Ministry of Education told a parliamentary panel on Monday that online classes are only for school children above class 3 and a limited number of online classes are allowed for students up to 8th grade.

At the same time, the Ministry had earlier asked the states and Union Territories to seek parents' feedback on a possible period of time when they have agreed to the decision to reopen the schools. In a circular sent by the School Education and Literacy Department of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), parents were asked what their expectations would be if the schools reopened.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, all schools and colleges across the country are closed since the month of March. However, to reduce the loss of students' studies, they are being taught online. Now it will be to see when and how schools are reopened in the country.
