Arvind kejriwal.

Electric vehicle policy has two objectives

He said that after five years from today, if the electric vehicle will be discussed in the whole world, then the name of Delhi will be above. This policy is the most progressive policy of the entire country. Perhaps one of the best electric vehicle policies in the world has been prepared. It has two objectives - first, to strengthen the economy of Delhi. Second, reducing pollution.

This policy is for three years

Kejriwal said that at present, this policy is for three years. It will then be reviewed. If need be, it will be considered first. This policy has been discussed a lot in the last two and a half years. Officers did not make it by sitting in AC rooms. Many experts of the country were called along with Delhi for this policy. Whatever suggestions he gave, he has been given a place in it.

Kejriwal said that Our goal is to have at least 25% of all new vehicles registered in Delhi by 2024. The figure is currently 0.2%. Electric vehicles are very expensive today and are out of the reach of common man. Therefore, the government will get an incentive of 30 thousand for taking a two-wheeler and up to Rs 1.5 lakh for taking a car. The government will give relief in loan for giving electric commercial vehicle. The road fee and tax of electric vehicle will be waived.

Target to build 200 charging stations in Delhi

The Chief Minister of Delhi said that thousands of new jobs will be created by this. Incentives will also be given on taking electric vehicles in exchange for old vehicles. A very large charging station network will be built in Delhi. A target has been set to create a network of 200 charging stations in a year. Electric vehicle board will be made in Delhi. Five years from today, when there will be a discussion of electrical vehicles all over the world, Delhi will be discussed in it. It is expected that at least five lakh new electric vehicles will be registered in Delhi.
