WhatsApp has partnered with Google for search features. The app has given this information in its blog. This feature will work on WhatsApp's Android, iOS, and web apps. But currently "Search the Web" has been launched only in Brazil, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, UK, and USA. Hopefully the company will bring it to India soon.

How will work "search the web"?

The message that is forwarded repeatedly on WhatsApp has a double-arrow mark on it. A search button will come in front of such messages. By tapping on this button, your internet browser will open and links related to that message will be found on Google. With this, you will be able to easily check whether the message that has come to you is true or fake.

WhatsApp says that even after using the search option, WhatsApp does not read the message itself. When you press the search button, that message gets uploaded to the search box of Google directly through your internet browser.

The war between WhatsApp and fake news is very old. The fake news of every kind has been flourishing on WhatsApp. To prevent this, WhatsApp limits forwarding to five people in India. That is, you cannot send a message to more than five people at a time.

After this, WhatsApp started marking the message being forwarded repeatedly and limited it to one person. That is, such messages can be sent to only one contact or group at a time.

After all this, the movement of fake news on WhatsApp has reduced but the complete elimination has not been done. Now it has to be seen whether this new feature can complete the unfinished work.
